Following the introduction of robot-staffed hotel counters years ago, a completely new scene is about to unfold at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.Japan plans to start using robots for cleaning and luggage transport, giving travelers a whole new experience.

These 11 upcoming robots were designed by developer Cyberdyne back in 2012 and are set to make their official debut in September 2015 to assist airport staff in handling heavy luggage for passengers. But they won’t be the only robots—talks are underway with Cyberdyne to develop a security robot, with hopes of eventually rolling them out across airports nationwide.
