Paris Plages is a favorite among many travelers. This man-made beach along the Seine River opens daily from 9 a.m. to midnight throughout July and August for one month. It isn’t small, stretching from the Pont Neuf to the Pont de Sully — about 3.5 kilometers long.

According to The Daily Telegraph, visitors can play beach volleyball, rugby, and basketball in the area around Hôtel de Ville Plaza, where sun loungers are available for sunbathing. Along the way, there are also many cultural activities, such as a Nile-themed exhibition from the Louvre, pop-up bookstores, and special events related to The Little Prince.

Other highlights include dance competitions, tai chi, table football in front of Hôtel de Ville Plaza, workshops teaching kids how to build sandcastles, and bike activities for toddlers. These exciting events are loved not only by locals but also by many tourists.
