2015 Summer in Kaohsiung – Picnics at Pier-2 and Free Concerts

Organized by the Kaohsiung City Government’s Information Bureau, the2015 Summer in Kaohsiungevent will take place on August 8 and 9 at the Pier-2 Art Center Railway Cultural Park. In addition to inviting several talented and accomplished singers, the two-night event will feature an explosive musical feast. There will also be a trendy picnic activity, inviting local citizens to come together on the afternoon of August 9 to chat, enjoy a picnic, and embrace a leisurely lifestyle.

2015 Summer in Kaohsiung Concerts
Time: August 8 and August 9, 7:00 PM. (Free admission)
Lineup: MP魔幻力量 (MP Magic Power), 魏如萱 (Wei Ru-xuan), Gentleman, 宇宙人 (Universe People), HUSH, 那我懂你意思了 (Then I Get What You Mean), 李佳薇 (Lee Chia-Wei), 曾沛慈 (Tsay Pei-Si), 陈彦允 (Chen Yan-Yun), and more.

Picnic & Reading Day
Time: 4:30 PM on August 9
The public is welcome to bring light snacks. Limited-edition picnic mats will be given out on-site, along with a hidden Easter egg where you can catch a glimpse of the singers’ rehearsal.

Event location: Pier-2 Art Center Railway Cultural Park (near Exit 2 of Xiziwan MRT Station).
Transportation: Take the Orange Line MRT or bus routes 五福干线 (50), 橘1 (Orange 1), 99, 219, 248, or the 哈玛星文化公车 (Hamasen Culture Bus).
