Aside from these locally recommended hidden gems, it’s time to dive into Hong Kong’s tourism event season. First up is the “Hong Kong Wine & Dine Festival” from October 26–29, where visitors can sample world-class wines and gourmet dishes against the stunning backdrop of Victoria Harbour. December brings the “Hong Kong WinterFest,” starting in mid-November when malls and shopping centers deck the halls with Christmas decorations, plus a 3D light show on the façade of the Cultural Centre — the whole city is immersed in festive cheer.
At the year-end ITF Taipei International Travel Fair, the Hong Kong Pavilion, in collaboration with eight major travel agencies, is offering unbeatable 3-day, 2-night Hong Kong trips for under NT$5,000, starting as low as NT$4,999 — perfect for budget travelers. There are also luxury options such as stays at The Peninsula Hong Kong and cruises, allowing visitors to enjoy a high-end urban holiday experience.
