Seeing the photo in the first image... the food vlogger couldn’t help but drool again—this mouthwatering crab congee and large prawns are truly delicious. Today, the vlogger is taking you to Macau—not to gamble!!!—but to enjoy some amazing food!!

Many people have asked me: Aren’t the meals at Macau casinos just ridiculously expensive? And not only that—you often end up at disappointing spots!! But if you’re on a budget, you must pay attention to this food review. The eatery I’m introducing today, “Flavorful Home,” is super affordable—with an average spend of about NT$440 per person, and it’s open 24 hours (perfect for late-night hunger pangs). It’s also within walking distance of hotels like Holiday Inn, StarWorld, Grand Lisboa, Hyatt Regency, Fortune Hotel, and Wynn—extremely convenient.

Crab Congee with Salted Pork Bones – HK$128/bowl
The signature dish at Flavorful Home is the crab congee with salted pork bones. Since the opening of their first branch 20 years ago, over 1 million bowls of this incredible crab congee have been sold!! This congee is made by slow-cooking raw rice in a rich 10-pound pork bone broth, resulting in a taste that’s incredibly savory and sweet—you’ll find yourself eating bowl after bowl.

Portuguese Chicken – HK$108

A Macau-exclusive dish, Portuguese chicken is made with fresh chicken, tomatoes, carrots, onions, potatoes, black olives, Portuguese sausage, shredded coconut, milk, and curry, all baked in the oven for five minutes. It has a strong Southeast Asian flavor. We recommend ordering a HK$12 pork bun to dip in the curry—it tastes even better.

Doumen Crab with Egg Noodles – HK$328

The crabs used at Flavorful Home come from Doumen on the mainland, and each one weighs at least 1 pound 8 ounces. Using a braising technique with a secret sauce, the freshness and aroma of the crab are fully brought out. The egg noodles soak up the flavors of the crab and sauce—absolutely satisfying!

The best part? At casino restaurants, a dish like this would cost at least HK$500. Here, it's like getting a 66% discount—isn’t that a huge difference!!

Another must-order dish isBraised Beef Ribs – HK$168
Fresh American beef ribs, cooked using a Chinese-style braising technique in an iron pot. This dish is a perfect fusion of East and West. The moment it’s served and the aroma wafts from the pot, you won’t be able to resist digging in with some rice.

Braised Fish Head – HK$148
The last dish wasn’t ordered by me but was strongly recommended by my Macau friend Wendy. Let me tell you—Wendy looks a bit like the Macau version of Chen Yanxi and is a foodie who’s tried almost every delicacy in Macau. She said this bighead carp caught from the reservoir is super rich in collagen, great for your skin. After hearing that, I didn’t think twice and took a bite. Because the fish head is braised to lock in the juices, it’s especially tender and juicy on the inside, with a crispy outside. The smooth texture paired with the aroma of the special sauce will leave your mouth watering.

Next time you’re in Macau, the vlogger highly recommends giving this place a try—you’ll save money and satisfy your cravings!
PS: Try not to come during lunch hours—it can get very crowded, and you might have to wait over ten minutes in line. Flavorful Home has six branches—you can choose the one closest to you.
