The world's only 'Gucci Restaurant' opens in Shanghai — a dinner for one costs 1,500 RMB

A globally renowned luxury brand has opened a high-end restaurant in Shanghai,according to foreign media outlet dailymeal.com,which described it as "fulfilling both the desires for luxury and romance!"

This restaurant (1921Gucci Café) took two years to complete and is the world’s only Gucci-branded restaurant, although the brand previously opened a café in Florence, Italy. Located within Shanghai’s IAPM Mall, diners can take an elevator from the Gucci boutique directly to the restaurant. The interior is predominantly decorated with velvet, and also features pillows, silverware, napkins, and more.

The menu mainly features Italian cuisine. Lunch costs around 700 Taiwan Dollars per person, while dinner is roughly double that price, putting it in line with other high-end restaurants.
