Tsunami Ramen caters to those who crave novelty, always excited to try new restaurants; their passion for ramen never seems to wane. The recently opened sister branch in Mong Kok moved from Tokyo to Hong Kong, with Japanese chefs cooking the noodles in-store—the fish-flavored ramen is remarkably delicious.
The Tsunami Ramen branch in Tsuen Wan is not large, featuring a counter-style layout surrounding the noodle-cooking area, allowing diners to closely watch the chefs at work. The interior design includes a mural of Mount Fuji, which has been recently renovated with additional Japanese elements.

There are 4 to 5 regular ramen options, along with daily limited-quantity tsukemen (dipping ramen) available in limited quantities. The highlight is the Fish Collagen Bone Broth Ramen, topped with a ball of collagen that enriches the soup’s texture—seems perfect for ladies too.

Another refreshing option is the tomato and cheese broth ramen. Compared to pork bone or fish broth, the tomato flavor is more aromatic and also suitable for those who aren’t fond of fishy tastes.

The noodles used in Tsunami Ramen have a special formula with lower moisture content than typical ramen, giving them stronger soup absorption and a richer mouthfeel.
