When it comes to must-see autumn scenery, the swaying silvergrass is definitely one of them. The high-altitude regions in Taiwan are about to enter the silvergrass blooming season, and in Taipei’s Yangmingshan, the silvergrass has already turned into a “silvergrass wave.” Due to Yangmingshan’s high elevation, cool temperatures, and exposure to the northeast monsoon, it is often the earliest place in northern Taiwan where silvergrass blooms. Qingtianang is one of the areas on Yangmingshan abundant with silvergrass, making it the perfect time to come here for an encounter with the silvergrass and immerse yourself in the rich autumn atmosphere.

Yangmingshan National Park announced the latest silvergrass conditions on its fan page on the 16th. From the photos, you can see that the blooming silvergrass forms a vast white sea of flowers, dyeing the entire mountain with an elegant white hue. Yangmingshan National Park also reminds visitors that to avoid traffic jams on weekends spoiling the flower-viewing experience, it is recommended to visit on weekdays. In addition to Qingtianang, spots like Xiaoyoukeng and Datun Nature Park also offer beautiful views of the silvergrass.
