Taiwan’s hottest new drink: “Sweaty Young Meat Milk Tea” sells out in just 5 minutes

A beverage shop in Tainan has launched a “Young Meat Milk Tea,” featuring muscular male torsos made of plastic filled with milk tea. The six-pack abs and flawless physique even appear to sweat under the hot sun. The shop owner, Lin Jung-ke, 21 years old and himself a “young meat,” came up with the creative idea, crafting a smooth and delicious milk tea blend. Just three weeks after its launch, it has sparked a buying frenzy.

The “Young Meat Milk Tea,” limited to 80 cans per day, goes on sale at noon and is always sold out within 5 minutes. This eye-catching milk tea features a creative male torso design, showcasing a well-built physique with visible abs on the front and cleavage at the back. When the dark brown milk tea is poured into the can, the curves of the “young meat” become fully visible. Holding it while walking and drinking, the cold milk tea even causes condensation beads to form on the outside of the can—visually very appealing.

At just 21 years old, Lin Jung-ke previously worked at Tainan’s well-known Bryan Black Tea. He originally rented a small stall to start his own business, and now the “Zhang San Feng Ice-Fire Pineapple Buns Shop,” which sells the Young Meat Milk Tea, is his second store. Despite his young age, he has a very creative mind. The “Young Meat Milk Tea” was inspired by Japan’s “Muscle Drink” concept but differs by not using clothing to cover the figure—it instead features bare chest muscles, hence the name “Young Meat.”

Based on Hong Kong-style milk tea, it uses six types of tea leaves and is filtered before being mixed with imported Hong Kong-style evaporated milk, resulting in a smooth taste that rivals that of Hong Kong’s cha chaan teng iced milk tea. In addition to the Young Meat Milk Tea, the shop also offers three varieties of “blood bag” juices—grape, mango, and guava—which are equally popular with visitors.
