With less than a month to go until Mid-Autumn Festival, aside from mooncakes, barbecuing is arguably the most festive activity of the season. Taipei Fullon Hotel has tapped into the market for premium barbecues by launching its “Mid-Autumn Rosemary Pork Ribs Gift Box” (NT$815) for the first time. Made with American pork ribs, the ribs are marinated for hours with a variety of spices and then pre-cooked. Once consumers receive the gift box, they only need to heat the ribs for five minutes before they’re ready to enjoy.

Taipei Fullon has designed its “Mid-Autumn Rosemary Pork Ribs Gift Box” to require only “minimal processing.” The ribs come from the American pork rib cut, which is leaner and well-suited for grilling. The ribs are marinated for two hours with a blend of spices including Sichuan peppercorn, garlic, black pepper, and coriander root to infuse rich flavor, then roasted until fully cooked. As a result, customers can simply thaw the gift box at room temperature and grill or bake the ribs at around 180°C for about five minutes before digging in.
