First Look at the Rilakkuma-Themed Restaurant: Cheese Cake That’s Cute and Delicious

The Rilakkuma-themed restaurant, Rilakkuma Café, began its trial operation on September 1. Since reservations are only accepted by phone, the booking hotline was busy almost all day. Thanks to a lucky friend who managed to secure a spot, I had the chance to visit the Rilakkuma-themed restaurant. The exterior of the restaurant is mainly white, with the adorable Rilakkuma logo prominently displayed.

As this is a Rilakkuma-themed restaurant, the interior decor and furnishings are filled with Rilakkuma everywhere — from the large Rilakkuma plush at the entrance, to the entire wall covered in Rilakkuma stuffed toys, Rilakkuma patterns on the tables, various sizes of Rilakkuma pillows on the chairs, Rilakkuma plates, Rilakkuma-painted walls, and various Rilakkuma ornaments. The overall atmosphere is incredibly soothing.

Of course, there are also Rilakkuma-shaped meals. In the dessert case, you’ll find the Rilakkuma fresh milk cheese cake, Milk Bear strawberry cheese cake, and three-color pudding — all in adorable Rilakkuma shapes. For main dishes, there are Rilakkuma-shaped options like Rilakkuma pork cutlet curry rice, Rilakkuma white sauce chicken rice, and Rilakkuma pancakes. For drinks, the latte series comes with Rilakkuma patterns sprinkled on top, while the soda series features Rilakkuma-shaped fruit ice cubes. While the food may not be particularly outstanding in taste, the Rilakkuma fresh milk cheese cake is not only super cute in appearance but also has a pleasant texture and flavor. It’s said that the Rilakkuma-themed restaurant excels in cakes and desserts, and will focus on an afternoon tea menu in the future.
