Exaggerated！Kicking down doors, putting slippers in the fridge—3 outrageous hotel guest antics

Online artist Kayo recently shared illustrations on her personalKayo. Carefree Life fan pagedepicting hotel scenes such as kicking down doors, putting slippers in the fridge, and beds being mysteriously relocated. Interestingly, these are all backed by photographic evidence—most of which Kayo encountered during her daily work in hotels. She collected numerous bizarre guest behaviors and illustrated three of the most striking cases to share on her fan page, leaving netizens amazed.

1. Moving the fridge to the bed

2. A disconnected showerhead
When sharing this photo, Kayo added a note: “Sometimes there’s even poop on the floor.”

Kayo shared: “The argument that day was really loud. I was about to check on them, but then there was a loud bang and everything went quiet. After they checked out, there was no blood, just broken glass all over the floor and a hole in the wall...” She also posted a real photo in the comments, prompting many netizens to share their own experiences. Kayo also reminded guests to take care of public property.

3. The fridge is always full of surprises—like slippers...

In addition, there are other unillustrated but photographed incidents shared on the fan page, such as:
1. A TV somehow fell off the wall
2. A bed messy enough to look like it was bombed
3. A couple fighting and kicking a huge hole in the bathroom door
4. A bed that was “mysteriously relocated” (On the 13th, Kayo shared on her fan page: “Once when I was cleaning a room, I opened the door and was shocked—not only was the floor covered in trash, but the bed had been moved. Netizens said it looked like ‘a room after World War III (just kidding).’”)
5. A condom thrown in the toilet but not flushed... (Kayo used this photo to remind everyone: “I’m telling you, don’t flush condoms down the toilet—they’ll clog it. The trash can isn’t just for decoration!!!!!!!!!!!”)
6. Drinks and food staining the entire bedsheet
7. A latch handle coming apart while opening...

Guests’ outrageous antics are endless, often resulting in damaged public property. Kayo said it’s hard to seek compensation because these issues are usually discovered after checkout when the guests have already left. She can only express her work frustrations through drawings and photos, and hopes guests will have more consideration, as service industry work is tough and cleaning up can be very difficult.

Online artist Kayo is a hotel housekeeper whose job is to clean rooms. Her fan page was established in 2014, but since she was a student focusing on her studies at the time, she posted less frequently. In an interview, she said that now that she has just graduated and sees the positive response from netizens, she plans to share more related illustrations on her fan page and impart her hotel know-how.
