Easier Access to the Queen’s Head Rock—New Taipei Launches the “Keelung–Jinshan” Frog Leap Bus Line

To serve both business travelers and tourists, New Taipei City has launched its second frog leap bus line, the “Keelung–Jinshan” route, which stops at only 13 stations along the way. The service is now in a four-month trial period starting today, and it is estimated to save passengers over 15 minutes of travel time.

The New Taipei City Department of Transportation stated that the frog leap bus “Keelung–Jinshan” line will have only the following stops:Keelung Railway Station, Anle Market, Anle High School, Wuling Street Intersection, Dawu, Wanli Bridgehead, Wanli District Office, Jade Bay, Guhou Fishing Port, Yehliu, Jiatao Village, Jinshan District Office, and Jinshan (Nanshi)—a total of 13 stations.This setup eliminates around 45 stops and saves more than 15 minutes of travel time.

According to the Department of Transportation, the “Keelung–Jinshan” bus route adopts a three-sectional fare system. Buses depart daily from Jinshan at 8:55 AM, 11:00 AM, 4:00 PM, and 6:00 PM, and from Keelung at 9:50 AM, 11:55 AM, 4:55 PM, and 6:55 PM—totaling eight fixed scheduled services every day, regardless of weekends or holidays.
