Limited-time "Rainbow Tower" for 5-day Silver Week holiday!

Japan is currently in the middle of the 5-day "Silver Week" holiday, and starting today, Tokyo Tower will be lit up in seven colors—red, pink, blue, blue-green, green, yellow, and white—after sunset, transforming its usually all-red structure into a limited-time "Rainbow Tower" for five days. If you're in Tokyo and near the tower, don't miss this rare sight.

Tokyo Tower announced that to coincide with Silver Week, a special 5-day limited lighting event will be held from September 19 to 23. From sunset until 10 p.m., the tower will be illuminated in seven vibrant colors, adding a lively and colorful touch to its appearance. From 10 p.m. to midnight, Tokyo Tower will revert to its regular nighttime lighting, allowing visitors to enjoy different facets of the tower during the Silver Week holiday.
