Taiwan’s Largest-Ever “Spherical Water Light Projection Show” Debuts at Taichung’s Lake Heart Pavilion

Taiwan’s largest light projection show in 2014 brought the National Taichung Theater to life at night, leaving an unforgettable impression. This yearthe Taichung Light Art Festival is back, debuting Taiwan’s largest-ever “spherical water light projection show,” which kicks off on October 3 at the Lake Heart Pavilion in Taichung Park, using the interplay of light and shadow to recount the old glory of Taichung.

The Taichung City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau stated that this year’s Taichung Light Art Festival incorporates elements of Time, Light, and Arts. By combining light and shadow with music and dance, it tells the story of both past and present Taichung across two projection stages. The first stop is the Lake Heart Pavilion in Taichung Park, with shows taking place on October 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11. The Taichung Prefectural Hall will follow from October 17, with additional projection performances on October 18, 24, and 25.
