Southern Jiangxi Forest Train

　　The forest train starts at Yuancun Village in Meishui Township, Shangyou County, and ends at Yaohexia Village, with stunning natural scenery along the way. The Shangyou Forest Miniature Railway is currently the only well-preserved forest miniature railway in China’s southern forestry region. It has been called “one of the best-preserved small steam locomotives and narrow-gauge railways in the world” by German steam engine experts, and hailed as a “world-class tourism treasure” by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ tourism resources assessment team.
