Ganzhou Qiyun Mountain

Qiyun Mountain is situated at the border between Wuzhifeng Township in Shangyou County and Sishun Township in Chongyi County, Jiangxi Province. As the main peak of the Zhuguang Mountain Range, it stands at an elevation of 2,061 meters and covers a total area of 15 square kilometers. The mountain features majestic peaks that are often shrouded in clouds and mist. Its upper reaches are covered with dense primeval forests, while the sunny slopes and foothills consist of mixed deciduous and evergreen coniferous-broadleaf forests, as well as evergreen broadleaf forests. Above 1,000 meters in elevation, only shrubbery can be found, and the higher you go, the sparser the vegetation becomes, with only grass remaining at the summit. The area is home to many wild animals, primarily including monkeys, serows, muntjacs, serows, and Lady Amherst's pheasants. From the summit, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of eight counties across three provinces (Hunan, Jiangxi, and Guangdong)—specifically Guidong, Rucheng, Zixing, Yanling, Shangyou, Chongyi, Dayu, and Nanxiong.
