Puyang Zhongyuan Green Garden

　　Zhongyuan Green Garden, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, a national "March 8th" Green Quality Project, and one of Henan Province's top ten popular tourist destinations. Located in the western part of Puyang city, the garden covers a total area of 72.46 hectares. It is a comprehensive forestry park integrating ecological conservation, sightseeing, entertainment, and leisure vacation. As the largest tourist attraction in Puyang, Zhongyuan Green Garden stands out with its fresh, simple, and rustic pastoral style, becoming one of the city’s most beautiful landscapes.

　　The garden highlights its "green" premium landscaping, with over 400,000 plants, 300,000 square meters of lawns, and more than 50,000 square meters of water surfaces. Using natural landscape gardening techniques, it features over ten specialized botanical gardens, including the Hundred Fruit Garden, Hundred Flower Garden, Metasequoia and Ginkgo Garden, Plum Garden, Bamboo Garden, Magnolia Garden, and Lilac Garden. Beauty can be found everywhere in Zhongyuan Green Garden, with each season offering picturesque views: in spring, lush grass and blooming flowers; in summer, verdant trees and shimmering waters; in autumn, mountains covered in red leaves and bountiful fruit; in winter, snow-laden pines and the charming fragrance of plum blossoms sought while walking on snow.

　　The function of Green Garden is positioned around landscape appreciation and cultural experience. Its three major cultural offerings are the biggest highlights that attract visitors:

　　The first highlight is the Dreamland Garden large-scale acrobatic performance. Puyang is known as the hometown of acrobatics, and the garden’s acrobatics are famed for their height, difficulty, thrills, and elegance, combining performance art with modern technology. The music and lighting change dynamically with the acts, creating a dreamlike and vibrant atmosphere. The garden’s acrobatic troupe has performed in over 30 countries. Except on Mondays, captivating and exciting acrobatic shows can be enjoyed here every day at 10:30 AM.

　　The second highlight is the daily theatrical performances in the theater. Inside a uniquely designed boat-shaped building surrounded by mountains and water, the Henan Provincial Forest Public Security Art Troupe puts on two performances daily featuring instrumental music and song and dance. These shows are distinctive, featuring the ancient Chinese instrument xun, the melodies of court music ensembles, and the vibrant culture of ethnic minorities.

　　The third highlight is the diverse and exciting Animal Theater. Zhongyuan Green Garden Zoo is home not only to over 300 rare animals of 60 different species for visitors to enjoy, but also features witty and fascinating animal performances.
