Central Plains Green Garden

　　Central Plains Green Garden, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, a national "March 8th" Green Quality Project, and one of Henan Province’s top ten tourist hotspots. Located in the western part of Puyang city, the garden covers a total area of 72.46 hectares. It is a comprehensive forestry park integrating ecological conservation, sightseeing, entertainment, and leisure vacation. As the largest tourist attraction in Puyang, Central Plains Green Garden stands out with its fresh, simple, and rustic pastoral style, becoming one of the most beautiful landscapes in the city.

　　The garden highlights a “green” premium landscape design, with over 400,000 planted flowers and trees, 300,000 square meters of lawns, and more than 50,000 square meters of water surfaces. Using a naturalistic landscaping approach, it features over ten specialized botanical gardens, including the Hundred Fruit Garden, Hundred Flower Garden, Metasequoia and Ginkgo Garden, Plum Garden, Bamboo Garden, Magnolia Garden, and Lilac Garden. Beauty can be found everywhere in Central Plains Green Garden, with each season offering picturesque views: in spring, lush grass and blooming flowers; in summer, verdant trees and shimmering waters; in autumn, mountains covered in red leaves and abundant fruit; in winter, snow-laden pines and the fragrance of plum blossoms sought while walking on snow.

　　The functional positioning of Green Garden is to appreciate the landscape and savor culture. The garden’s three major cultural offerings are the biggest draws for visitors:

　　The first highlight is the Dreamland Garden large-scale acrobatic show. Puyang is renowned as the hometown of acrobatics, and the garden’s acrobatics are famous for their height, difficulty, thrills, and elegance. The performances emphasize a blend of artistic expression with modern technology, with music and lighting that continuously transform to create a dreamy and vibrant atmosphere. The garden’s acrobatic troupe has performed in over 30 countries. Except on Mondays, visitors can enjoy colorful and thrilling acrobatic shows at 10:30 AM every day.

　　The second highlight is the daily theater performances. In a uniquely designed boat-shaped building nestled against the mountain and surrounded by water, the Henan Forest Public Security Art Troupe puts on two performances daily featuring mainly instrumental music and song and dance. These shows are distinctive, featuring the ancient Chinese instrument xun, the melodies of court music ensembles, and the vibrant charm of ethnic minorities.

　　The third highlight is the captivating Animal Theater. The Green Garden Zoo not only houses over 300 rare animals from 60 different species for visitors to admire, but also features hilarious and engaging animal performances. The adorable animals and their impressive acts have won widespread acclaim from visitors.
