Sarnia
Sarnia is situated in Lambton County in the southwestern part of Ontario, Canada, at the point where three of the upper Great Lakes flow into the St. Clair River. It is the largest city in both Lambton County and along the shores of Lake Huron. The area south of the city center is home to numerous oil refineries and chemical plants, earning it the nickname "Chemical Valley."

Sarnia enjoys a mild climate and boasts lush green parks, pristine white-sand beaches, winding trails, and modern accommodation facilities, making it a popular tourist destination in Ontario. With over a hundred distinctive and elegant parks, the city’s highlight is Canatara Park, which covers 200 acres along the shores of Lake Huron. The largest recreational park is Germain Park, featuring baseball and soccer fields, ponds, and community gardens — a paradise for sports enthusiasts.

Sarnia’s music and theater scene holds significant importance for southern Ontario. From September to April each year, the International Symphony Orchestra performs at the Imperial Theatre, delivering spectacular shows that are truly a feast for the eyes and ears.
