Taizhou People's Navy Birthplace Memorial Hall

The Taizhou People's Navy Birthplace Memorial Hall is situated in Baima Town, Gaogang District, Taizhou City, and was opened in 1999, with its name inscribed by General Secretary. The main building resembles a warship in shape, and a tall mast symbolizing a naval vessel stands on the left side of the square in front of the hall. The square displays a number of retired aircraft, radars, and autocannons from the navy. Inside the exhibition halls, a wealth of historical documents, photos, and images vividly recount the birth and growth of the navy through chapters such as "Founding of the Navy in Baima," "Dominance Over the Seas," "Marching Bravely Forward," and "Deep Bond Between the Military and Civilians." The exhibits include various models of naval vessels and aircraft, uniforms, and a wooden river-crossing boat, among many other authentic items, showcasing the glorious journey of the People's Navy from its birth at Baima Temple in Taizhou to its development and growth over the years.
