Former Residence of Zhao Yicheng
The former residence of Zhao Yicheng is located at No. 69 Changde Road, Heping District. It is a very exquisite and charming British-style small building. It is a two-story house of just over 100 square meters with a total of eight rooms. The steps lead up to a uniquely designed semi-circular doorway. The walls are partially made of exposed brick and partially of cement blocks. The downstairs consists of a dining room and a living room; the upstairs includes a study and bedrooms. The interior is floored with Philippine hardwood, and the medieval-style fireplace is exquisitely crafted. The backyard is spacious, featuring pathways, flower beds, and a grape trellis, creating an elegant and tranquil environment. This residence is currently a private home and is listed as an immovable cultural relic in Tianjin that has not yet been officially designated as a protected cultural heritage site.
