Qiumaoyuan Garden

　　    Qiumaoyuan Garden is situated in Xinpu Village, approximately 5 kilometers north of Tongxiao Town, Miaoli County. It was privately funded and constructed by Dr. Huang Qiumao, an overseas Chinese living in Japan. The garden boasts abundant greenery and floral displays, making it one of Tongxiao’s well-known scenic spots. It is also one of the few privately owned garden attractions in Taiwan that does not charge an entrance fee, which is highly commendable.

　　    Covering an area of about 4 hectares, Qiumaoyuan Garden is primarily landscaped artificially, featuring numerous pavilions, benches, as well as colorful and whimsical statues of animals and human figures.
