Here, visitors can admire emerald mountains and clear waters, terraced fields, picturesque bridges and streams, the legendary Mandarin Duck and Turtle, Guangxi’s only thousand-year-old “Lover’s Banyan,” the rustic and authentic Miao stilted wooden houses, a profound cultural heritage, and the highly developable Longgongtan Grand Canyon rafting adventure. The area is rich in folk customs and vibrant community cultural life, with strong ethnic flavors. Unique cultural activities include the Lusheng Dance, Ya Bian Xi Chun (Springtime Tooth-Shifting Celebration), Horse Fighting, Making “Tongnian” (Sworn Brotherhood), and the Torch Festival. The scenic area offers a range of tourism services including dining, accommodation, ethnic performances, and sightseeing.
