  St. Andrews is situated in Charlotte County, New Brunswick, Canada, and was founded in 1783. Its name comes from St. Andrews in Scotland. It is one of the oldest and most charming towns among the Maritime Provinces, a truly unique destination brimming with endless appeal.

  The town has been remarkably well-preserved, featuring many historic buildings, some dating back to the 18th century, including its renowned grid street layout. There are also numerous commercial structures from the 19th century. Attractions for visitors include the Algonquin Hotel, the Ross Memorial, the St. Andrews Biological Station, the Huntsman Marine Science Centre (which includes the Huntsman Aquarium), the St. Andrews Blockhouse, the farmers' market, Kingsbrae Garden, and the Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre.

  St. Andrews is also an ideal spot for whale watching. The best time for this activity is from May to October each year, when you can see humpback whales, fin whales, and minke whales, as well as seals.
