Jiuzhao

Jiuzhao is situated on the north side of the Yunnan-Guizhou National Highway, 700 meters from Banpotang, and includes both village landscapes and the ruins of Chang’an City. Chang’an City was also a former Ming Dynasty garrison town, and together with Lianyun City and Banpotang, they are known as the "Three Cities within Five Li." Parts of the city walls still remain, and the ancient road is still intact.

The area is home to about 38 families of the Buyi ethnic group, most of whom live in stone houses that blend harmoniously with the ruins of Chang’an City to form a scenic landscape. There is also a notable fossil group in the area, with sea lily fossils being particularly famous.
