Langshidang Scenic Area

　　   Langshidang Scenic Area is situated in the northeastern part of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County and is a central destination along the Qilian Mountain scenic belt. It lies 110 kilometers from the provincial capital Xining and 220 kilometers from Lanzhou. It is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, a national forest park, a national geopark, and also Qinghai’s first self-drive campsite. The total area of the scenic zone spans 1,127 square kilometers, with elevations ranging from 2,100 to 4,308 meters, and boasts a forest stock volume of 4.2886 million cubic meters.

　　   According to testing by the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the area has a negative oxygen ion concentration between 3,300 and 30,000 per cubic meter, making it a natural oxygen bar bestowed by nature. The scenic area is nestled within the majestic Qilian Mountains, at the transitional zone from the Hexi Corridor to the Tibetan Plateau. Its natural landscape system is intact, featuring dense forests.
