The Tu people have their own language and are known for their love of singing and dancing. Tu girls are especially skilled in embroidery, with their unique coiling embroidery technique being unparalleled in the world. The Tu people also celebrate their own festival — the Nadun Festival. During the festival, Tu people dress in their finest clothes, perform the "Anzhao Dance," spin on the "Lunziqiu," hold horse races, and sing Hua'er songs, among other activities. In addition, Tu residential architecture and marriage and funeral customs are distinctive. The Tu wedding ceremony is particularly interesting, as the entire event is conducted with singing and dancing. The traditional Tu attire, adorned with vibrant colors, is extraordinarily splendid.
