HanZhong Yinma Pond
Yinma Pond is situated in the southeastern part of Hanzhong City. It is said to have been a place where the army of Liu Bang from the Western Han Dynasty watered their horses while stationed in Hanzhong. The Santai Pavilion is the most renowned attraction here. This three-story structure features multiple tiers of upturned eaves and exquisite architecture. The area is also a great spot for moon viewing. When the full moon hangs high in the night sky and its reflection shimmers on the rippling surface of the pond, the scene seems to transport visitors back to the era of “moon over the Qin Pass and fortresses of the Han.”
