Wawu Cave
Wawu Cave is situated in Yida Township, about one kilometer along the Zhaojin Highway and roughly two kilometers from the Yida Township government office. The cave entrance is at Wawu, and the exploration cannot extend beyond the territory of Haxiang in Zhaojue County. It stretches for about 9,000 meters, with numerous forks inside. By analyzing airflow and air freshness in these branches, it is inferred that there may be connected exits. This cave is a karst formation on a karst surface, densely packed with stalactites in a wide variety of shapes — some resembling humans, others animals, some looking like tools or buildings, and even some like lotus flowers or bead curtains. The vibrant colors and breathtaking beauty make it a rare and precious cave tourism resource, seldom found elsewhere in China.
