Zhuke Hot Springs

　　Zhuke Hot Springs can be divided into one large and one small hot spring. The Large Zhuke Hot Spring is located in Darenquan Village, Zhuke Township, Zhaojue County, 14 kilometers from the county town, at an altitude of 1905 meters. It is a thermal spring with a spring water temperature of over 50°C, a mineralization level of 0.2–0.21 grams per liter, a pH value of 8.4, and water chemistry characterized as bicarbonate-sodium-calcium (HCO₃–NaCa) type. Its flow rate is 19.69 liters per second, and the main spring eye is situated within the Silurian limestone and breccia fracture zone. A year-round swimming pool has been built here (1000 m²), and along the banks of the Niuluo River, there is a fish pond covering an area of 27 acres, known for its renowned tilapia. The Small Zhuke Hot Spring is about 1 kilometer from the large one, with a water temperature of around 44°C, a flow rate of 5.6 liters per second, a mineralization level of 0.075 grams per liter, and a pH value of 6. Its water chemistry is characterized as bicarbonate-sodium-potassium, chloride-calcium type water (HCO₃–Cl–K⁺Na⁺Ca). A fish pond of 7.8 acres has also been constructed downstream of this spring. Thanks to their location beside the highway between Yibin and Xichang, both the Large and Small Zhuke Hot Springs are easily accessible.
