The Acacia Trees are located in Fenghuang Village, Xinqiao Town. Originally named water birch trees, they have a history of 300 years. The Acacia Trees are two trees of the same species, with their main trunks standing on opposite sides of a small stream, through which the creek flows. When the two trunks grew to about three meters tall, they leaned toward each other over the stream and fused into one, before later separating again to continue growing independently. Each tree stands about 20 meters tall, and together their canopies span approximately 20 meters, with each trunk having a circumference of 3.8 meters at breast height. Their branches and leaves are dense and lush, forming an overhead green canopy that arches gracefully over the small stream. From a distance, the trees appear as intertwined trunks and branches of different plants yet joined as one—like lovers embracing and entwined, radiating deep affection. Up close, their reflections in the water resemble mandarin ducks playing in the stream or phoenixes weaving through blossoms, evoking imagery of enduring love. Hence, they are named the “Acacia Trees.” In 1989, the county government and a provincial TV station produced a television film titled *The Legend of the Acacia Trees*, using these trees on Fenghuang Mountain as the subject.
