The ruins of the Shousheng Temple from the Song Dynasty at Wolongyan are located on Luguo Mountain, about 2 kilometers west of Ligao Street in Liuzhou County. The cave is about 3 meters high, 5 meters wide, and 4 meters deep. On a large rock beneath the cave are carved the three characters “Wolongyan” (Crouching Dragon Rock), each character measuring 68 cm in height and 67 cm in width. The inscription reads: “Reopened in the eighth month of the Yihai year of the Jiading era [August 1215], monk Qingzong inscribed this cliff; the text was written by Fang Xinru, Transport Commissioner of Guangnan West Road.” The person who inscribed the text is Fang Xinru, Transport Commissioner of Guangnan West Road during the Southern Song Dynasty, and the carving dates to the eighth year of the Jiading era (1215). The Song Dynasty work “Yu Di Ji Sheng” records this place as Mount Wolong. The cave is where the Shousheng Temple (originally named Longquan Temple) was located. This stone inscription is a key cultural relic protected at the county level.
