地址:大同市城区小西门
建于明万历二十三年(1595年)。清康熙六年(1667年)重修。
寺坐西朝东，现仅存正殿。正殿分上下两层，下层为砖券窑洞三孔，外券为仿木结构建筑形式，檐下砌斗?碜髯笆危?で吧栌谐だ?上层为木结构，面阔三间，进深两间，殿顶为重檐九脊歇山顶。
大同兴国寺为省级重点文物保护单位。
