黛提瀑布

　　黛提瀑布是冰岛共和国东北方、Jökulsárgljúfur国家公园米湖（Mývatn）湖区附近的瀑布，坐落于Jökulsá á Fjöllum河，流入Jökulsárgljúfur峡谷；其源流是瓦特纳冰原。黛提瀑布宽度约100米，高度有44米，被认为是欧洲最高、最汹涌的瀑布。流量因季节而异，枯水期约有每秒200立方米；夏季冰融使河水增加，流量也达到500立方米。

　　由于黛提瀑布水量很大，只要听水声就可以找到瀑布所在地。的确，当河流经过荒凉地区，强大的水流带着泥砂流过44米的断崖，其气势也真是够惊人。冰岛作曲家琼•莱夫斯从此瀑布得到灵感，谱写了一首曲子'Dettifoss'。
