东狮山

东狮山

　　东狮山耸立在柘荣县城东2公里处，面积25平方公里。东狮山是太姥山脉的主峰，海拔1480米，气势雄伟。东狮山属花岗岩地貌，岩体、岩洞千姿百态，有皤桃岩、马头岩、象鼻岩。千笋石、万书岩。擎天柱。玉屏洞、灵峰洞、“仙人锯板”等景点，山下龙并瀑布落差100余米，宽6米，蔚为壮观。

　　1986年，美国桥港大学教授吴卫平游览东狮山时惊叹不已，挥笔题词“气拔太姥，天下奇山”。
