山海楼

山海楼

　　山海楼原为民宅，位于县城西南20公里的新桥镇黄公岙村里，是一座两层楼房，座北朝南共三间。1948年农历正月上旬，上海中共外省工作委员会派党员唐侃夫妇来象山工作，住地下党员史中平家，即山海楼楼上西首一间。根据上级指示，为开展象山革命工作，决定成立“中共象山工作委员会”，并在山海楼上举行会议。此后，又在该楼研究决定对敌斗争策略，作出领导农民斗争、组织武装暴-动的决定。其后，又成立“象宁人民-游击队”，打击国民党反动势力，配合人民解放军解放象山。

　　山海楼为我县解放前夕成立县工委、领导象山人民开展革命斗争的一个纪念地。该楼东首一间还曾作为盛诚烈士生前在黄公岙任教时的居室。1998年重修。

山海楼为县级文物保护单位。
