河源博物馆

　　河源博物馆内设有恐龙蛋化石展馆，该博物馆位于东江河畔龟峰山下。河源市区共挖掘出恐龙蛋化石109窝计1068枚（图为恐龙蛋化石），其中最大的一枚直径达22厘米。这些化石有三个特点：一是出土集中；二是有大中小三种，从种类和数量上均居全国第二，仅次于河南；三是以东江为界，河东裸露的化石裸露，河西的则深藏于地下。这些化石全属白垩纪晚期时代的，距今有6500万多年了。另外河源市区已发现三条恐龙骨架化石。

　　河源市博物馆除恐龙展馆外，还设有历史文物展厅、菊石化石展厅、阮啸仙烈士图片展室。现有文物3000多件。交通很方便，有10余条公交线路经过。
