海州古城

海州古城

　　海州是一座历史悠久的临海古城，城址多次变迁，历尽沧桑。近年来为适应旅游事业的发展，地方政府作了大规模的改建恢复工作。特别是重修了鼓楼、双龙井，新建了朐阳门和秦东门石刻，整理开放了百子庵、碧霞寺等宗教活动场所，雕梁画栋，使古色古香的海州面貌一新，成为一个较有吸引力的旅游景点。

　　现在，一条由海州古城通往孔望山的公路全线畅通，它把海州古城、石棚山、蜘蛛山、塔山、孔望山等著名景点联成一线，形成独具特色的风景带。
