A world-famous theater, ranking third in the world after New York's Metropolitan Opera House and Milan’s La Scala. Its extraordinary acoustics are flawlessly perfect. Located on the Plaza de la calle 9 de Julio in Buenos Aires, it is a massive building in the typical Renaissance style. The marble corridors feature countless pillars that resemble statues, adorned with dazzling gold leaf. The Dorado Salon stands out even more — the entire room is gilded, and rows of crystal-clear prism-shaped chandeliers bathe the space in brilliant light. The grand auditorium is richly embellished in gold, with a red velvet carpet underfoot that exudes luxury. In addition to the 2,500 seated audience members, the theater can accommodate 1,000 standing guests. The orchestra section alone has 632 seats, which are spacious and comfortable.
