  Yan Mountain Scenic Area is situated in Qiaotou Town, Huaiji County, along Zhaoqing’s “Thousand-Li Tourism Corridor” in Guangdong Province. It lies 2.5 kilometers from Yan Cave and the Shangri-La Scenic Area, over 30 kilometers from the county seat, more than 100 kilometers from Zhaoqing City, and 180 kilometers from Guangzhou. The scenic area is also 18 kilometers away from the provincial highway that serves as the main route between Guangzhou and Guilin. Within the area, a picturesque landscape unfolds with a harmonious blend of peak forests, caves, streams, fields, farmlands, villages, and bamboo groves—truly a scene straight out of a painting. Yan Mountain Rock and Pangu Cave Heaven are both located within Yan Mountain. The cave heaven spans over 30 meters in width, more than 50 meters in height, and offers a tour route extending 3,000 meters. Inside the cave are rare natural wonders such as the Fairy Waterfall, a billion-year-old Divine Turtle, Pangu Terraces, and the Stone-born Giant Pangu. Experts have confirmed that the area preserves some of the most stunning natural landscapes formed by the ancient Yanshan Movement hundreds of millions of years ago. It is also one of the “Ancient Sixteen Scenic Spots of Huaiyang” and served as a filming location for the Hong Kong ATV TV series Journey to the West.
