The Pan Clan Ancestral Hall
Located in Dafu Village, She County. Originally built in 1585 and renovated during the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty. It has three courtyards. The entrance hall is designed in the style of a five-phoenix tower, with finely carved brickwork adorning the side screen walls. The central area is a courtyard paved with stone slabs, flanked by tiger-patterned corridors. The middle section has five bays, with thick beams and pillars in the main hall, and intricately carved "Hundred Horses" designs on the spandrels, flat trays, and brackets. Historic plaques from various dynasties hang high from the curved beams. The rear section is over one meter above ground level, featuring seven bays, blue stone eave pillars, a double-eaved roof, and an upper floor. In the central courtyard pond, there is a well for drawing water. On the upper floor, doorways in the left and right stairwells lead to the back hill outside the ancestral hall. This grand ancestral hall boasts magnificent architecture and exquisite carvings. It is now a key cultural relic protection unit of Anhui Province.
