Huangshan Phoenix Island

　　In the Xin'an River, directly opposite ShenDu Port, there is a small island that got its name, Phoenix Island, because some artificial “phoenixes” were placed among the trees on the island. The island features attractions such as a zip line, Phoenix Forest, Phoenix Stage, Phoenix Perching Tree, and Father-and-Son Worship Phoenix Tree, and also includes a Japanese-style homestay resort area.

　　Hidden among the greenery, there is also a farmhouse with white walls and black tiles. It is recommended that you stay at a local farmhouse on the island so you can fully enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Xin'an River. Such scenic rooms are unmatched by any hotel in town.

　　Located within the ancient tourist town of ShenDu in She County, Huangshan City, the island sits on the prime section of the picturesque Xin'an River Scenic Area. Jin Island covers an area of over 200 acres, with the main island land area being over 40 acres, and two inner and outer lakes covering about 60 acres in total. The outer side also has a beach of over 100 acres. The Phoenix Island tourist attraction is a scenic area that integrates natural and cultural landscapes, combining sightseeing with leisure and vacation. Specific attractions include an archery range, cockfighting arena, horse fighting arena, water golf, water recreation activities, a Japanese-style resort area, and the Phoenix Garden.
