Lanzhong Shuangxing Hot Springs

　　Known as the "hidden gem," Tangshui Hot Springs in Shuangxing Village, Lanzhong Town, Hua ji County, is situated 19 kilometers from Lanzhong Market Town and 55 kilometers from the county seat. The Shuangxing area enjoys a subtropical climate with distinct seasons, warm weather, abundant rainfall, and is surrounded by mountains on all sides, offering a very beautiful environment.

　　Shuangxing has five underground hot springs, with water temperatures ranging from 40–50°C. These springs are all concentrated within a 0.5-square-kilometer area of the village and have remained undisturbed for many years, forming part of a natural ecological conservation zone. The average flow rate of these five hot springs is 0.72 liters per second, with a pH level of 9.7. Each liter contains trace elements such as potassium, calcium, fluoride, and carbon dioxide at levels of 0.6 mg, 6.4 mg, 8 mg, 12 mg, and 20 mg respectively. Testing has shown that the waters have good therapeutic effects on skin conditions such as eczema and rashes, and provide auxiliary benefits for health care, wellness, and bathing.

　　During holidays such as Chinese New Year, Lanzhong Shuangxing Hot Springs becomes a popular tourist destination both within and outside the county. Thousands of visitors flock to Tangshui Village to soak in the hot springs, keeping the hot spring business owners extremely busy. Many people have to wait their turn to bathe, and some even soak in the springs until nightfall.
