Taoist Cap

Taoist Cap is a pictographic rock formation composed of rhyolite. It was created when the rock was uplifted during the Mesozoic era, exposing it to the surface, and then shaped by the erosion of flowing water and weathering. The rock is approximately 80 meters long, 40 meters wide, with a circumference of about 250 meters, covering an area of around 3,200 square meters, and has a relative height of about 50 meters.

It stretches from north to south, being wider at both ends and narrower in the middle. The lower parts of the rock are steep cliffs, while the upper part bulges slightly outward, forming an angle of about 165 degrees with the vertical line, resembling the brim of a Taoist cap.

The top of the rock is relatively flat and slightly arched, resembling the cap’s top. The surrounding area is made up of rocks, and the top is dotted with sparse small trees, featuring good vegetation. From a distance, it looks just like a Taoist cap.

On the eastern side of the Taoist Cap, water droplets cascade down from the mountaintop, creating a spectacular sight and producing sounds like a harmonious musical performance with beautiful melodies.
