Anping Valley Leisure, Sightseeing & Ecological Park
Anping is situated in Pingtou Town, Chencang District, south of the wharf section of National Highway 310, at the foot of Miaowang Mountain in the Qinling Range, with a total area of about 20 square kilometers. The scenic area is a strip-shaped valley, spacious and flat, flanked by dense forests to the east and west. The local customs are simple and the scenery is beautiful. The Zhinu River maintains clear waters year-round, while the riverbanks feature undulating layers of comet stones. The surrounding hills are covered with wildflowers, drifting clouds, and a moist, cool climate, offering a serene and pleasant environment — an ideal place for spiritual cultivation and relaxation.
The tourism resources of Anping are characterized by picturesque natural landscapes in all seasons, a rich variety of local agricultural specialties, an abundance of precious medicinal herbs, and numerous wild plants. In addition, Anping boasts many folk legends and cultural attractions, such as Black Tiger Mountain, Crouching Dragon Ridge, Xiangzi Cave, Guanyin Hall, Shuanglong River, Monkey Head Rock, Fresh Peach Cave, General’s Platform, and Jade Maiden Pool. During traditional temple fairs on ancient lunar calendar days, opera performances, deity worship, and mountain pilgrimages attract large crowds, creating a spectacular scene. Nowadays, many urban residents visit Anping each year to escape the heat and relax.
