Within the city stood the Sacrificial Chicken Platform (commonly known as Dujitai), which was built by Duke Wen of Qin to worship an ancient chicken on Chicken Peak Mountain. It has now been leveled.
To the west of the city lies Chen Cang Valley, within the site of the former Shaanxi Cotton Mill No. 12. The area protrudes at the front and recedes at the back, making it suitable for hiding troops. After Han Xin secretly crossed the Chen Cang Pass in the early Han Dynasty, he stationed his troops here. Nearby there is a spring, said to have been formed when Han Xin’s horse pawed at the ground while preparing for battle.
The ruins of the upper Chen Cang City still remain, and only traces of the Yuyang Palace are left, where roof tiles have been unearthed.
Although the lower Chen Cang City has long been in ruins, remnants of its walls are still preserved, and the commanding terrain of Chen Cang Valley remains much the same as before.
