Waterfall Pavilion Terrace

　　  Waterfall Pavilion Terrace is located in Longgang Town, Kaiyang County. The scenic area is about 50 kilometers from the county town and approximately 60 kilometers from Guiyang, with a planned total area of 28.72 square kilometers. It is a provincial-level scenic spot in Guizhou and an ideal destination for rafting, scientific research, exploration, photography, and leisure.

　　  The area features towering and uniquely shaped peaks and rocks. Some river sections have been split as if by a giant axe, forming narrow gorges where the river’s emerald waters converge into a 1.9-meter-wide crevice, creating a tranquil and cool atmosphere. Countless streams, waterfalls, hanging springs, and a secondary karst landform formed through further deposition on calcified bases shape the landscape. The scenic area is covered with dense, lush vegetation, with a forest coverage rate of over 80%. It boasts 25 national third-grade or higher scenic spots, including Thousand Buddha Ridge, Purple River Heavenly Dragon, Purple River Cloud God, Moon Reflected in Two Springs, Ten Thousand Waterfalls Cloud Platform, Spring Clouds Unfurling, Inverted Stone Lotus on Water, Earth Crack, Seven Generals Mountain, Purple River Grand Buddha, Purple River Goddess, and Milky Way in the Ninth Heaven.
