贞寿牌坊

　　昔日，封建统治者，为了愚昧妇女，严格要求妇女坚守贞节，力尽妇人之孝道。在封建社会里的许多年青妇女，一旦丈夫死去，便作寡居，不思再嫁，以博取坚守贞节，尽守妇道之孝芳名。当时，这样尽孝守节的年青寡妇为数不少，社会上为稳住这些寡妇的芳心不思再嫁，便树立了一座“节孝流芳”的石碑坊以为寡妇树碑立传。这样做法，虽属愚昧，但却可使不少年青寡妇得以安慰而求心理上的平衡。

　　贞寿牌坊座落于德庆县官圩镇江村，距今170多年历史,见证了江伍氏身见七代的殊荣。现为德庆县级文物保护单位。
