Yangjiacun Site
The Yangjiacun Site is located in Majia Town, Meixian County, Shaanxi Province.

The area of the site is unknown, with a cultural layer over 1 meter thick. In 1983, three earthen pit tombs were excavated, yielding pottery items such as bowls, jars, pointed-bottom bottles, gourd-shaped bottles, narrow-necked flasks, and cups, as well as stone tools including axes, spades, and balls—35 artifacts in total—all belonging to the Shijia type of the Yangshao Culture. Scattered across the surface were remnants of Western Zhou gray pottery, including cord-marked li tripods, jars, and basins. In 1972, a bronze ding tripod was unearthed from a gray pit, measuring 77 cm in overall height, 56.5 cm in mouth diameter, and weighing 78.5 kg. The interior rim bears an inscription of 4 lines and 27 characters, dating the artifact to the early Western Zhou period during the reign of King Cheng.

In 2006, the Yangjiacun Site was designated as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit by the State Council as an ancient site from the Zhou Dynasty, listed in the sixth batch.
